March 12, 2022 — Our Dating AnniversaryThis date is especially meaningful to us.For as long as we’ve been together, we’ve enjoyed walking in the Rochester St. Patrick’s Day Parade with Tim’s team from The Genesee Brewery.March 12th became even more special when, during our very first parade day together, Tim asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes… without realizing I was also saying yes to forever.

You can access Jekyll Island, GA, by air by flying into one of three nearby airports:Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK), which is the closest commercial airport, Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) or Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), which offer more options. From any of these airports, you can rent a car or take a shuttle, limo, or taxi to reach the island. Brunswick, GA to Jekyll Island: 21 miles Jacksonville, FL to Jekyll Island: 63 miles Savannah, GA to Jekyll Island: 90 miles

Darin Harlow is the owner and operator of Harlow Transport. He is based out of Brunswick, GA (serving the Golden Isles/Jekyll Island area). We used Darin during our wedding tasting weekend- 10/10 recommend! Contact him to book or request a quote. Rates are paid directly to the company by the guest.

Jekyll Island is a state park managed by the Jekyll Island–State Park Authority. All vehicles entering the island are required to purchase a $10 daily parking pass (per vehicle), available at the entry gate or online. See the link below to purchase in advance. <a href="https://www.jekyllisland.com/visiting/parking/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.jekyllisland.com/visiting/parking/</a> A single-day pass ($10) is valid until you leave the island. You would only need to purchase an additional pass if you exit the island and return. Multi-day and annual passes are also available. Fun fact: These fees help keep the island beautiful by supporting grounds maintenance, conservation efforts, and public safety.

Jekyll Market at Beachtown For guests who would like a quick or casual meal option, a nearby market offers sandwiches, snacks, drinks, and other grab-and-go items. This is a convenient option for breakfast, lunch, or light meals during your stay.&nbsp;The Market features four on-site restaurants, a full service salad bar, a fantastic sweet shop, and a vast array of gift items! Conveniently located within walking distance of The Westin.
